Meet Ridge!

Ridge Knapp is a progressive data analyst, coach, and dedicated advocate for our neighborhoods.

Ridge - like many Gen Z folks - started his political journey in high school. When his hometown’s Republican state senator brushed off a question from his high school’s GSA, Ridge picked up a clipboard and started talking to his neighbors – and he hasn’t stopped since. Whether organizing college students across Chicago and across the country, working to advance progressive criminal justice reforms in the State’s Attorney’s Office, or serving on the Harris-Walz national analytics team, Ridge has always led with his values and put people first.

Ridge holds undergraduate and graduate degrees in public policy from the University of Chicago and has built a career focused on using data to identify policies that make our lives better and drive real change. He’s worked to identify racist and anti-immigrant disparities in the criminal justice system, analyzed gaps in Medicare and long-term care for seniors, and monitored the influence of far-right organizations on public life. He’s brought this same passion to organizing, knocking thousands of doors in Chicago and across the country for progressives and Democratic candidates.
